A simple question. Should Walt and co include the "Mod of the Month" in PCF again?
*Disclaimer: I'm not Walt, and am in no way affiliated with PCFormat (other than being an avid reader), so I have no authority or say in what goes into the magazine.
This is just a poll, and the results will be sent to Walt, unless he sees it here first, and then it will be up for discussion with them.
edit - as per wikid request - Reason : I truly dont care about modding. If I find a modding section in the mag, cool. If I dont, so be it. I did not say NO. I said I dont care. Rather go hunt the guys that went "NO" (if there is any.)

I really don't care. It is nice to see what other people have done. I think -=WiK1d=- & DAE_JA_VOO for example would like their mods in the mag. Why don't they have something like the "readers rides" in speed & sound? Put one or two mods in a month with some pictures and a short description of how they did what they did. No competition or prizes then there won't be guys cheating like in the past. Just some thoughts.
AMD Athlon64 X2 4600+ | Asus M2NPV-MX | Radeon 3850 512MB | 2GB DDR2-800 Corsair XMS2 & 2Gb DDR2-800 OCZ Gold | Western Digital 250GB SATAII | Samsung 500GB SATAII
I voted IDC, like sojourn im not bothered if i see it or not
But think of it this way
PCF have to have a flowing supply of decent mods(And original, ask me once youve seen 10 modded pc's uve seen em all) and if thats not enough they have to hope this guy can make it somewhere to make it for the shoot of his pc and and and
it might just not be a wise business move in the end
How about a modding special, including it like every 6 months to a year
Then they have the time to make sure that everything goes down to plan

Ripper, Iceblade and myself tried asking them before but to no avail. Hopefully they will realize how big the modding craze/passion is within South Africa and how much of work( and money ofcourse ) goes into modding a pc.
I voted yes .
As for a business move I on the other hand think it's good move as loads of money gets spend on modding stuff and companies will try to advertise there stuff.

But 20 out of 8000 users is not so quite good. We'll let it run for 3 weeks and see what comes up. And we'll also consider the other ideas that come out of it.
