Re: 3D Mark 2006
Well you gave yourself enough reason to go to an 8800GTX in the English thread. The 8800GTX kicks bottom all the way down to the supermarket and back. If only I still had my Blitz ExtremeFirestrm wrote:RuadRauFlessa, only if you give me your 8800gtx and a good enough reason to...

Re: 3D Mark 2006
What mine with my cr@p replacement mobo and DDR2 800 instead of a Blitz Extreme and DDR3 1333
About 11000 last time I checked. I think. Will have to bench again to check.

Re: 3D Mark 2006
played around with some settings in the bios to the memory (don't really know much about memory settings and overclocking), but I read somewhere on various threads that my memory timing (?) should be 5-5-5-15 and with everything on auto in the bios it runs at 5-7-7-20 (not sure what that all means). Anyway, set it to 5-5-5-15 / 2T and the 3DMark score did actually improve by a few hundred marks

Re: 3D Mark 2006
Firestrm, one quick question; we both seem to have the same graphics cards, GTX 280, (barring possibly the make), but how do you get it to run at 690 / 1240 / 1500 (clock / memory / shader)?Firestrm wrote:got a new card.... played with some oc and woop....
I tried these settings and 3DMark 06 didn't want to run through. The highest stable setting I get is 648 / 1215 / 1395 (stable also during gaming)
Why is that?
Just curious about that as I like running my systems as high as possible (and still being stable, especially during gaming), and if I can get more out of my two graphic cards, then I'd like to

Re: 3D Mark 2006
Someone please explain the anomalies in my score between vista (with extra ram) and XP.
The only thing scoring higher is my CPU
