garp, i'm pretty sure theres more to be had from that system, my 9600 Pro on a 2500+ @2.3 managed 15031, well that was with my system maxed. Still im pretty sure you could break 16k.

rev. D0 and E0 overclock better because they run cooler.
if u have a C0 dont go any further coz those babys really burn.

u can download cpu-z its free.
just google for it sumwhere

i have a D0 but is stopped at 3.6 (from 3.0) coz all i got is the stock HSF

What's up with this?

8034 3d Marks 2001 Se 1024 x 768
Athlon xp 2400+ - jumped to 2700+
512 mb ddr 333
40gig 7200 rpm
Gf 4 Ti 4200 - Running @ 50 mhz overclock
Memory running @ 6 2 2, but compared to the other systems this is impossibly bad.... how is such a low score possible?

You can only get so much juice from an orange - the Ti4200 was a great card in its day, but these days it would be considered pretty basic, I'm afraid.

I agree.

With my
Athlon xp 2600+ - running at 2400 (as far as I remember)
1 gig ddr 400
Gf FX5600XT 256mb - Running a slight overclock
I would just reach 10000

I know with my old 4200Ti stock I reached 11K on 3D Mark01se. That was some time back though, so I might be a little off here and there. CPU clock speed makes sometimes more difference in 3dMark01se than just the GFX. I was running a 3000+ Barton overclocked to 3200+ 200 x 11 when I got that score.

hmmmm, nice, your wires are a bit of a mess eh?

And for that cash, why not rather go for the 6600GT?

wires what wires??Yes I still have to sort it out but I'm pretty happy about the powersupply coming out pre-sleeved....

As for the GT how much more would that have cost me and is it really worth getting few more frames.... the F.E.A.R demo ran smooth and maxed out at 1028X 768....so I don't really care...
