Sorry to barge in like this, just an idea you may like. I did a window once to try something I saw. Get HP transparency sheets from your local stationary store and you can print with any colour inkjet printer onto them, when it's dry it doesn't smudge or anything. I couldn't believe how amazing it looked. Especially with a light behind it. It has to be seen to be appreciated and it costs a few buck. like R5 for a sheet. You probably also get A3 sheets.
These aren't the best examples for finished product pics but gives you an idea of what I mean: I printed a full anime pic to cover my whole window in full colour. It was amazing.

I'm not sure yet. I'm scouting around for a black pcb board, maybe a DFI P965 Dark, that would be perfect.Samaya wrote:Jislaaik!!! That looks awesome. Nicely done Bertus. What insides you going to put in there?
But then it will be E8400 2GB DDR2 and whatnot. Oh and some dual card setup
Hehe I have a few pics with the components in, but I hit a little bump. First of all, I've been writing exams for the past 3 weeks and had no time for this. And then I found out that my radiator leaks in two places, so I need to get that fixed firstFirestrm wrote:Looks fakkin awesome... . when are we gonna see it with some components in and some pimpage?WiK1d wrote: Whaddaya think?

I have some pics of the happening, but it was quite dark in the garage and all the pics are blurred, but if anyone wants to see them I can add them.

I sanded the original stuff first. Then gave it a coat of primer, let it dry properly, wetsand, another coat. Let it dry for a day, wetsand. Then a coat of paint, very light, let it dry properly, wetsand. Another thicker coat, let it dry for a day, wetsand.RobThePyro wrote:what steps did you spray in? like spray - wetsand - spray or what?
That did the trick on most of the parts, some needed a third coat.
