[b]CD Rom Autorun Autoplay[/b]

For some reason my CD Rom will no longer Autorun any CD. Music, .net or any data CD.

Could you please give me some idea of what may have caused this and what to do to correct it.

well the only thing it could be is that the autorun option has been turned off...im not too sure why this suddenly happens (as in your case)

it only happened to me in Win95, im not too sure how to enable/disable the autorun for data cds in windows XP.

however for the music cds and such go into "my computer" and right click on your cd-rom drive, then click properties and go to the "autoplay" tab, there you can set what autorun feature youd like for different file types eg:music,video,etc,etc

You can also download TweakUI from Microsoft for your version of Windows, and on one of last tabs, you will find options to enable/disable music and/or data CDs

I have tried that option but to no avail.

I have not yet tried a Tweak. Will try to obtain it and see if it helps.
