6600GT vs 6800?

Hi there,

I was wondering, what card would be the best to buy (performance/price wise).
I know everyone will say the 6800 is better, but by how much?

Is there any benchmarks on the web somewhere that compares these two cards? Or have any of you benchmarked these cards on the same system?

I got a 6800GT and am very happy wif it. It is a bit more pricey than the 6600's, but the price does not outdo the performance. Go to Tom's Hardware Guide for performance benchmarks between the two.

The 6800 isn't much faster than the 6600GT, rather get the 6800GS or even the 6800LE is you want to try your luck at unlocking the extra pipelines.

As Sojourn suggested, check out toms hardware.
