Project: Supanaut (The PSU has blown and I had to replace)
I have been trying to find a name for my mod in recent months but just could not come up with something. But alas today I have conjured up a respectable, awe inspiring and just plain ground breaking name for the mod!!! How cool is that? Finally I can give my mod a decent title. :lookround: I'm calling it Supanaut Originally sang by Black Sabbath.

ROFL!!! I'm sorry dude but i laugh my butt off EVERY SINGLE TIME you say something like that.DoOb wrote:Looking wicked Samaya. REally an unsual case but wicked mental.
Seriously dude, i'm laughing out loud as i type this!!!
Sorry for the off topic Samaya
That guy that used to mod cases. Now I take photos. True story.
Progress is hampered by my depressing rig at the moment. I can't afford to get a new machine to put inside this mod and thus I don't feel like doing a mod which will have CRAP hardware inside. So if anyone is willing to sponsor me a MoBo, CPU and Ram I don't know how long I am going to take to finish this...da_ripper wrote: Pity about the black sabath part but cool. so what progress apart

Hey, Dude, keep the faith!
Even if it takes a year to finish it - which, btw, is how long it is going to take me - you are going to have an awesome machine
I am probably the last person who would ever say this, but it is all about positive thinking and having a positive attitude, that will bring success

Dude your mod is looking frigging awesome, don't fret if it takes a long time to finish or before you can get your hardware.
I understand how you feel(i think), i have been waiting nearly a year to build a better PC, and now it looks like i'll have to wiat another year...
don't stop the modding, you inspire everyone else.

Ok well I took your advise... I sommer feel alot better
I did a couple of things tonight. I started on the second HDD bracket and fitted a special power connector.
Starting off. I cut the perspex the good old way, with a hack saw
So now I have two of these
And done. I still have to make the bottom part of this bracket. I'll do that next time
So The I decided to fit this little bugger for power. Its a power socket with a power filter attached. So now my PC will permanent supply of clean power.
From the top
This is where I am fitting it
Rough cut...
Almost finished after this a just filed and made the hole the exact size
I have to admit though making that hole is easier with my this toy...
If there is any tool I'd recommend after a dremmel, it would be this one. Filing made easy and chop-chop
And there you go, fitted
From the inside
And then the final back side shot
What you think?
