UT2004 Mega Pack

This latest patch from Epic Games will give you everything you need to update UT2004 to the most current version, including nine new Deathmatch, Assault, and CTF maps. The patch also includes all of the content from the first (Editor's Choice Edition) bonus pack for UT2004.

Mega Pack includes the following maps:

AS-BP2-Acatana: Intense space fighting and on-foot combat combine in this recreation of the historic Skaarj invasion of the Acatana asteroid belt.

AS-BP2-JumpShip: Be part of the elite team that infiltrated and hijacked the first warp capable Jumpship.

AS-BP2-Outback: City slickers just took over the outback's top brewery - get over there pronto and stop the production of their tasteless Zero Beer before it takes over Oz!

AS-BP2-SubRosa: Fight your way into a Liandri research facility and steal the original plans for the Redeemer.

AS-BP2-Thrust: A recreation of the infamous destruction of the Saturn IX rocket where a team of rebel fighters launched it unguided and half fueled into hostile waters.

CTF-BP2-Concentrate: Tall spires tower over this Capture the Flag battle set on a derelict outpost deep in the Elorean Seas.

CTF-BP2-Pistola: This twin complex of concrete and metal combines the beauty of nature with the harsh lines of industrial architecture to create a fierce battle arena.

DM-BP2-Calandras: The courtyards of Calandras were once beautiful and welcoming. While the Temple's interiors have been preserved, a new less-inviting use has been found for the exteriors.

DM-BP2-GoopGod: For centuries the Nali monks managed to keep this sacred burial ground hidden until Liandri satellites discovered the location during a routine satellite sweep. The area was mined, and what remained was converted into a tournament arena, corpses and all.

Unreal Tournament 2004 Patch v3369

This patch is completely compatible with the retail version - servers and clients of any flavor can connect with each other.
This patch will not overwrite your ut2004.ini and user.ini files, except to update settings as necessary. This patch
includes all changes made in Patches 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,and 6.

This patch should be installed *after* installing the Epic ECE Bonus Pack, as it updates some of the game code included
with the bonus pack.

General Gameplay:
- Fixed DriverLeft() not be called when driver dies in vehicle without vehicle being destroyed. This fixes the vehicle not resetting, and fixes effects like the engine sound not being turned off.
- Fixed some vehicle weapon effects staying around when bots stopped firing them.
- Fixed spider mine layer incorrectly reducing mine count when a fired spider mine immediately explodes.
- Fixed manta and raptor spinning sometimes when player enters
- SPMA camera explodes if it hits water.
- Don't allow SPMA camera view to go outside world.
- Invasion HUD radar uses the viewed pawn's rotation rather than the spectator's rotation.
- Fixed low gravity not working properly in second and successive rounds of onslaught.
- Moved announcements for assault energycore to ASOBJ_EnergyCore_Spawn, and made them editable by level designers.
- Fixed spawning multiple energycores in Assault.
- Can now throw linkgun with 1 ammo left.
- Fixed exploit where shieldgun could be used to protect against lava or slime volume damage.
- Fixed CTF Flags not returning exploit
- Fixed stats tracking when a player switches between a spectator and active player (or vice-versa)

Networking:
- Various networking serialization optimizations.
- Fixed issues where players would not properly be sent to the Spectating state on clients.
- Fix for eyeheight getting screwed up on client
- Server optimization - players don't do line of sight checks with each other
- Don't replicate pawn.ViewPitch to netowner
- Fixed CTF flag not properly attaching to vehicles on net clients.
- Made CD key hashes sent by clients more secure.
- Fixed various exploits.
- Merged Michiel Hendrick's HTTP redirect code improvements.
- Merged Fix for Map Vote Bug that cut off some chat text
- Merged Fix for Map Vote Bug that caused the window to open twice
- Prevent crash exploit (which was fixed) from being propagated to unpatched clients.

Engine:
- Return rather than asserting in UCanvas::WrappedPrint() if no valid font.
- Fixed -Mod= to support proper exporting of headers
- Convert '|' to 'I' in player names.
- Fixed cut and paste error in MidGamePanel.uc that could cause crashes on level changes. (thanks Wormbo)
- Fix and optimization for projector rendering.
- Various changes to support 64 bit version.
- Scripted texture changes so they don't render upside down on OpenGLDrv.
- Fixed weather effects on OpenGLDrv.

SuSe Linux 10.0 Live

"SUSE makes the live version of SUSE Linux available for download as an ISO image. This version runs entirely from the bootable DVD and is not installed on the hard disk.

If you want to get to know SUSE Linux or test if your hardware is fully supported, the live version is the right choice for you."

The ISO is about 1,1GB, so if u need some space to fill! <==

Rome: Total War v1.3 Patch

GAMEPLAY ISSUES

Balancing
There are a number of improvements that have been made to the Balancing of the
game, which will change the way that the game is played.

* Spear bonuses against cavalry have been increased (they were previously
hard coded and are now moddable, in addition to mount_effect)
* Braced spearmen (standing ready) now reflect part of any attacking
cavalry’s charge bonus back on the horse
* Adjusted most units’ charge bonuses to improve play balance (especially
for cavalry) in response to charge code changes (which fixed an issue for
higher bonus values)
* Reduced archery attack for some elite units
* Reduced secondary non-phalanx attack for stronger phalanx units
* Adjusted incorrect shield attribute for several units (to reflect
models)
* Fixed Egyptian desert axemen armour
* Fixed bug for early and late Thracian and Scythian generals
* Reduced archer attack from chariots and elephants, and reduced dog attack

Code Issues

We fixed a number of different bugs and associated issues for the patch, below
you will see some of the headline fixes.

Campaign Map
There have been numerous fixes to the Campaign Map. There are a few highlights
below.

* The Load Save bug has been addressed
* The speed on the campaign map has been improved
* Improvements to the Campaign map AI
* Better mix of rebelling units, including mercenary units and fewer
peasants
* Fewer brigands, more pirates and the ability to mod the rate that these
appear
* Fixed issues with the faction graphs where a dead faction was still
receiving income

Battle Map

As with the campaign map there have been numerous little fixes. A few
highlights are:

* Improvements to the battle AI
* Pre-battle speeches for the Roman factions now include sections on
previous meetings with that faction

Multiplayer

This will enable users to play Multiplayer against other players who have
upgraded their version of Rome with a Barbarian Invasion Install.

Battlefield 2 v1.12 Patch

IMPORTANT

- If you have installed the 1.12 patch to core Battlefield 2 and then installed
Battlefield 2: Special Forces, you will need to re-apply the 1.12 patch again to
be able to play on 1.12 Servers.

BUG FIXES

- Fixed a crash when users switch weapons using the mouse wheel while piloting
a bomber (SU-34, F-15 and J10) in core BF2 maps.
- Removed the Grappling Hook and the Zip Line from kits from "The Iron Gator"
map.
- Fixed single player loading screens to match map selection image.
- Fixed an issue in the menus so that users can click on BF2:SF ribbons to view
the descriptions.
- Fixed an issue in the Browser so that BF2:SF servers are now represented with
a green "2" icon.
- Global improvement of collision detection on the Grappling Hook and the Zip
Line.
- Fixed damage state artillery icon on the 3d map when an artillery is
destroyed.

CHANGE of VIDEO SPECS

- GeForce FX 5900 family:
GeForce FX 5900 Ultra
GeForce FX 5900
GeForce FX 5900XT
GeForce FX 5950 Ultra
GeForce FX 5900ZT
GeForce PCX 5900
- For these cards, the default video settings have been changed to LOW.

UPDATE TO GRAPPLING HOOK AND ZIP LINE DESCRIPTION

GRAPPLING HOOK

- The GRAPPLING HOOK is part of the Assault and Anti-tank kits. Throw it using
the fire or alternate fire buttons. Press "E" to get on and off of the rope.
Use the direction keys to climb the rope. The rope will connect to any static
object in the world, which means it will not work on terrain or vehicles. Any
Assault or Anti-Tank kit can pick up any grappling hook, even those from other
teams, as long as you do not already have one in your kit at the time.

ZIP LINE

- The ZIP LINE is part of the Special Forces and Sniper kits. Use the fire
button to shoot the line and use the alternate fire button to check if the
target is a viable connection point or not. Once the line is in place, use "E"
to get on. You will slide down the line automatically. Any Spec-Ops or Sniper
kit can pick up any zip line, even those from the other team, as long as you do
not already have one in your kit at the time.

...oh, and I use FireFox when I'm using my SuSe Machine! I've been busy in windows lately. :D

Okay, so it's majorly slower than FF!
