Re: Cover disc requests
Guys, we have pretty much finished up our December issue disc, I am now taking requests for January. And yes, we are still looking at getting Runes of Magic on (even though it has been quite a while). Anything else you'd like?

Re: Cover disc requests
Hey peeps,
Was just reading through the remakes etc mentioned in the November issue, would it be possible to actually put these on the disc, especially the D3 high res mod and the latest version of the Oscuro Oblivion Overhaul?

Re: Cover disc requests
The Sacred 2 patches will be on Jan's disc and there is no demo out for DoW 2 as yet (at least as far as I can see). Working on Feb at the moment.
I will see if we can secure the World in Conflict stuff. I will try for some Oblivion/Fallout 3/Dragon Age mods but the permissions are generally tricky on those so it may take a while.

Or is that an old demo? Give me a whack over the head if I'm wrong...

Re: Cover disc requests
Yeesh, no wonder... That demo was released in April this year, it'll have to move aside in favour of Operation Flashpoint and Avatar (so far)...

Re: Cover disc requests
January had a 816meg full patch for a different version of Sacred 2 (SA is apparently International UK) and it wouldn't install.
Searching online I found a local site where they mentioned the correct patches were on the March 2009 DVD. Okay found those, but I got the error:
"Failed to Initialize Patch Archive.
Error opening archive: (116) The central directory was not found in the archive (or you were trying to open not the last disk of a multi disk archive.)"
Searching on this error lead me to a site dealing with a problem with the patch on Nvidias site, with a correct link being:
http://download.nvidia.com/downloads/nZ ... 40_0_0.exe
So...if I can request you put another 1gig Sacred 2 patch of the DVD for Feb -_-

Re: Cover disc requests
Hey PCF guys. I haven't bought the January 2010 issue yet, but if it's not included there, please could you put the Torchlight V1.12 update on the disc. Apparently this update also serves as a full standalone demo version which can be unlocked to the full version after buying a serial key. My 3G internet cap won't survive the download but I don't mind having the install and just purchasing a key, so please help a fellow out here.

How about some Linux utilities/games or even a couple of tips and tricks? Since you so nicely put Linux on the last one...

But if you're talking about the extra quests you get (Premium content or some such), i think those have to be bought separately.
Re: Cover disc requests
If you are going to put up free games again, put Tee Worlds on the disc, here is the link to the download page http://www.teeworlds.com/?page=downloads And here is the download link http://www.teeworlds.com/files/teeworld ... -win32.zip

Re: Cover disc requests
hi
please can you guys put updates for some of the more popular AV products on the monthly disc?
im thinking like :Avast ,Adaware ,Spybot SD ,AVG etc...
This will really help those of us that arent online at home - after all : a monthly update is better than no update...
thanx

Hmm, with all the guys getting uncapped, I can see this thread dying one of these days.
