I realize this is completely off topic ... but Drakonian I love your Sig!!
On a more related topic ... would it ever be possible to do a WoW thing ... on USA servers? Not only UK?
There comes a time for every vampire when the idea of eternity becomes momentarily unbearable. Living in the shadows, feeding in the darkness with only your own company to keep, rots into a solitary, hollow existence.
Drakonis wrote:As far as Frets on Fire goes, what sort of mods etc did you guys have in mind? I'd rather not source something utterly useless for the disc.
To start with, the MFH mod, which is now called the FOFiX mod - You can find it here:
The future has many names: for the fearful it's the unknown, for the reckless it's the adventure, for the pessimists it's the unattainable. For the brave, it is opportunity.

UrBaN wrote:Sweet What about supplying two cover discs?
I kinda doubt that'll be happening any time soon. Not with a price increase that is.
I kinda think it will be hard to get enough programs/stuff/etc to fill 2 double sided DVDs. Thats 16gig of data if i'm not mistaken.

KillerByte, Thank you. Chances are I probably won't have burnout by then so it'll be welcome. (assuming I'm the only person in mind when making the cover disc )
Could you please put some productive software on, namely Untangle because they have a Windows version now.
I downloaded it this weekend and been running it on my work PC. I took my dedicated server out and am using it for something else now. This windows version is really quick and it rocks. So I'm not greedy, I already have it, I just say, spread the open source, especially with awesome products like this.
But why are they selfish or something. It is a damn SDK. They let you dl it from their site without prior registration or anything. It is like saying: Hey here is a nice piece of open source software you can download but not share. Comes down to the same thing.
Microsoft recently revoked all permissions to include their content on covermount discs worldwide.
I believe it had something to do with virus infections showing up on discs and being blamed on MS, as well as them not being able to properly support their software when other folks distribute it. Or something.
Quite annoying but what can you do?
