Android, Rage and I never got to play.Basipooh wrote:how was the starcraft game, who won?
Android and I were unable to connect to BNet, and we couldnt get our machines networked to play a private game.
We tried FSGS and Hamachi with no luck.
suxx0rz!
If anyone knows how to play over the internet without BNet, please let us know.

Re: Your Favourite game of all time.
Sorry, I apologize if I’m off topic and derailing this thread.
The best arcade games from the 80's
Our parents won a trip to Durban in 1994. There was an arcade near the hotel. The arcade didn’t use tokens instead you were issued with a type of credit card (it seemed so futuristic.) Anyway my sister and I discovered a lot of cheap games there; they were all apparently from the 80’.
20. Elevator Action
This was one of the easiest games to play. It was also released on console and I’m told that there’s a sequel as well.
19. Bubble Bobble
I wasn’t that good at Bubble Bobble, I could never get “the one up” and only made it as far as stage 16. Luckily, my sister was able to make to level 100. I liked the music.
18. Vigilante
I remember you had to save a girl named Madonna, your character wore dungarees and as you killed the enemies they fell off the screen.
17. Kung fu Master
In this game you had save your girlfriend, one of the bosses resembled Mr. T (I think); those knife throwing opponent sometimes posed quite a threat as their knives could hit your lower and upper body at the same time. One had to use the flying kick to destroy the urns on Stage 2.
16. MoonPatrol
You controlled a vehicle that upward and forward facing turrets, which came in quite handy when those flying saucers start to drop their bombs. The enemy could also sneak from behind, all you had to do was let him came in closer then jump over him kill him when he’s in front of you.
15. Silkworm
In Silkworm players get to choose between piloting a helicopter and a jeep.
I always picked the jeep and my sister chose the helicopter. We made to the final boss once. I could never figure out why the game was called Silkworm.
14. Shadow dancer
What kid would not love a game about a ninja that could use magic and send his dog to dispose of foes. Although if you’re not careful and let your dog get injured you might be stuck with a puppy.
13. Dragon ninja
If you hold down the punch button, you’re able to deliver a powerful strike.
The first boss is a guy that can breathe fire (I think he had his own game called Karnov)
The second boss is this the little ninja with long nails.
The third boss is actually two guys in amour that you fight in the forest.
The fourth boss is this ninja (that lurks in the sewer) who’s able to create multiple copies of himself.
All I remember about stage five is you fight that on a train.
On stage six you’ll fight weaker version of the previous bosses before facing the final enemy.
12. Toki
We knew it as Ju Ju, that game featuring the fireball spewing gorilla. The game had an amazing atmosphere, level design was quite good and you had a number of different weapons in your arsenal.
11. 1943
The previous game in the series 1942 was slow as hell, even so I’ve met people who’ve finished it.
You pilot a fighter plane and if you shoot down a squadron of fighters you might receive new weapons; the shotgun, the three way or the laser. One could also obtain a restorative item or an extra bomb. I only made it as far as the second stage, too many bullets coming from the enemy. There ‘s HD version of the game available at the Playstation Store
10. Skywolf
I only made it as far as the second stage, (nighttime combat) but my sister reached stage three. The game is also known as the Airwolf game.
9. Eswat
We tried to be the first kids to finish this two-player game. I remember we figured out that the boss with the boomerang was much easier the kill with kicks than with bullets. It was so awesome when you finally gained the mechanized armored suits.
8. Contra
Everyone who played Contra was able to finish it. I liked the laser weapon whereas my sister loved the Spread gun.
7. Shinobi
You try to employ stealth like tactics as you try to rescue the hostages from the guard because he’s able to block the shuriken. The gun that you get on is quite useful. I think the second boss is the helicopter that keeps on dropping henchmen.
6. Cabal
A two player game where one could destroy every structure and you had a almost unlimited supply of weapons. You can avoid being shot by using the rolling feature. We finished this game with less than six credits
5. Sly spy
We knew it as Secret Agent Man (the James Bond game) I sometimes struggled through the first bit - sky diving – parachute area. My sister finished this game just using one credit.
4. Guerilla warfare
You’re in the middle of the jungle, you have to free a number of hostages (P.O.W) and destroy the army that’s in your way. If you’re able to rescue a hostage your current weapon gets upgraded. The game is a lot like Metal Slug.
3. Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker
The game had music from Michael, one could transform and it was a two player game. My sister and I mastered this technique where we’d line as many enemies as possible before using the special attack. Great game.
2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
One of the greatest arcade games, we loved the four player version. My sister and I would fight over who gets to play as Raphael (his weapon was the coolest) in the end it turns out the person playing as Donatello was the most crucial member of the team, Donatello’s staff had a long reach so he could effortlessly dispose of foes. We finished this game on a Saturday afternoon and we’ve more less finished all subsequent Turtle games ( the one we struggled with was the first NES TMNT game)
1. Willow
It was a great movie and I felt the game was just as good. I was just astounded that the RPG elements blended almost seamlessly with an arcade game. Unfortunately, I’ve never finished the game.

Rules that an Evil Overlord must live by!
45. I will make sure I have a clear understanding of who is responsible for what in my organization. For example, if my general screws up I will not draw my weapon, point it at him, say "And here is the price for failure," then suddenly turn and kill some random underling.

Re: Your Favourite game of all time.
Azhure, if I wasn't lazy I'd nominate that post for an Epic Win
I played most of these games in the 80's and early 90's on those crappy Golden China 8bit consoles or at the arcades...
No street Fighter or Mortal Kombat in your list tho
