Hi there
 Everyone chats about LANs in their area but where are most of you from? Are there some gamers in Pretoria here? I might be holding a mini LAN next weekend, anyone interested? (games=c&c generals, SOF2, AvP2, Tribes2...)

I´ll play CC 9 times out of 10 instead of War3, but unfortunately my fellow LAN buddies complain too much about lag and stuff (probably an excuse after being "Cyber-Slapped" <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_lol.gif"> )

I don´t like war3 as you´re so worried and concerned about the hero´s. With CC, there´s no force that dominates (except overlords and mobile nuke cannons <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif"> ).
 
 When I do have a LAN, would anybody (those who´d like to participate) object to taking part in a study. My friend and I are busy constructing one of the worlds first gaming psychology sites (not just research). My buddy´s thesis at varsity is studying what goes through the gamers mind when playing and we need to take some recordings. Nothing bad....don´t worry

lol I don´t think so Kronos! Only one of my friends is a programmer, and he´s in Sri Lanka at the moment, 90% of my other friends are Med. Students, and then there´s a law student and some other working stiffs... my parents do live in Moreletta Park though. Small world hey...

 I am in Pretoria. Just saw ur post about ur friends in SL. h aha ha. Small world- I am from SL. Actually work for embassy. am i allowed to say my occupation here? Or is it hush, hush..?
 
 Anyway- i am alive. Have been playing SWG on normal 56K lines. Not too bad. Playable. BUt i am waiting for ISDN!
