GooD old Counter-Strike!!!

I am not ashamed to admit that I am a real Counter-Strike fan. I have a decent rig so I don´t play it coz my PC sucks. I was blown away when I heard about CONDITION ZERO. It is supposed to be released but I can not find it! May CS live forever more and let its fanbase grow! Any opinions?

When CS came out it totally blew FPS gamers away and it still does for me! Can´t wait to get my hands on CONDITION ZERO!

 Bring on Quake III and Unreal tournament 2003.

I really like the parts in cs where u empty whole magazines on a guys chest at point blank range , and then because of the brilliant "real life´ physics you dont hit squat , ´cept the wall behind him. <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_mad.gif">

I also like Unreal and Quake but CS rules. It is like playing paintball with little bits of metal. LOL.

Death to all who sayz that cs sucks, but one thing that i was wondering bout is if you guys can tell me where i could download tactical ops for ut2003, heard lotz of hype about it, but never got change to c for myself.

CS was a lot of fun at the time, but I started to loathe all "sniper" games, like CS, Medal of Honor, Delta Force etc... you can´t put a foot wrong and you´re dead before you even see where the enemy is... I don´t like hiding and firing a single shot to kill my enemy, I prefer the action of Quake 3 or UT2003.
 
 Anyway I´m surprised that CS Condition Zero hasn´t been released yet - I wonder why it´s been delayed so long. It´s graphics are going to look bad compared to HL2 and Doom 3, and the gameplay will be CS with a few new tricks.

 Tactical Ops is a mod for UT, not UT2K.

 True, CZ is based on a modded Counter Strike engine, which was (obviously) created with the HL engine, which was in turn a modded Quake1 engine! Hard to believe, isn´t it.

I still like CS. CZ was supposed to be released on JULY 18 and it is nowhere. Maybe it is overseas. I think the graphics won´t be too bad.

Yes! Finally some people who loathe CS. I hate that game , UT2003 should be the only competitve multiplayer cos it doesn´t rely on who shoots first rules.

 battlefield 1942 is pretty good but i still prefer UT2003 and yes it may be UT with better graphics but why change a winning formula?

Hello there Hawk21 - Yeah, I also have UT2003. It is pretty cool and the ragdoll effect is awesome - Guess I just like WW 2. Strange though, I genuinely prefer the original UT despite having the newer one. Something is missing or perhaps the hype got to me and expectations were too great <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif">

I agree with you on UT being better than UT2k but I still enjoy Quake and CS more than both, don´t get mwe wrong, UT is great but when i want to play something fast paced and fubn I play q3a and when i want something that´s a little more tactics but a lttle slower i do some CS!

hehe i also prefered UT to UT2003 it was sort of more fun than UT2003
 
 UT2003 did have alot of hype to go with it but i thought it was well deserved its a great game
 
 yeah the mods for quake 3 are pretty good
