hey guys sorry if this is a re-post.
I am experiencing the following:
How to do a dual boot with Ubuntu and Windows XP...
Anybody who can help me?

All I can say is if you try this by loading Linux first and the MS on top of that, you gona have a world of troubles.
Load the MS Os as per normal FIRST and then just slap the Linux distro on top of that. All the Linux distro's I saw being installed detected the MS Os and configured it automatically as a dual boot. Just follow the installation promts.

I agree - install XP first...and backup is a good idea
Do you have different partitions for the two OS's.

Just remember to read the installation options carefully and you should have no probs.
TOO MANY PEOPLE JUST CLICK NEXT NEXT NEXT WITHOUT READING.
