UBUNTU vs MANDRIVA

which 1 of these 2 are most comaptible and user friendly?

which 1 do u think is best 4 all-round-performance?

haven't installed ubuntu yet. i have 9 copies coming in the post though and 1 somewhere on my desk.

mandriva is much easier to install than suse or fedora core imho

Both can be configed to do the same :)

But Mandrivia is most compatible for me, detects all my hardware except tv-tuner, who cares about user-friendly these days... :) all u need is a cmd line editor and good typing skills :D

yup. i got so annoyed with fedora i sent my friend his cd back without installing it.

bloody hell. its so difficult to get it to set up your partitions.

Thier basically the same thing, Just different GUIs
But mandrakes(Mandriva) user interface was known for its 'User Friendlyness'

But ja be proudly south africa, go UBUNTU :p
