I hope this is the right place

Hi i would like to know if ne of u have a site where i can download a light weight gif animator(must be freeware or shareware) (no cracked programs!)
I've tried google but the one i downloaded sofar is all trials, with restrictions.

have you tried "the GIMP" but I hear its quite Tough to work with for animations!! I have tried it myself and still cannot get it right??

If you do download "the GIMP"! You will need to download also "the GAP" which the gimps animation plug in prog!

Gap is just a bunch of files, where should i paste this?
I have read the faq and they dont mention it in there?

I know little of animations but Madgic always said Mocca is a great animator... I think she had a tut on the forum somewhere.

When i downloaded GAP, it was in an executable, and it asked me for the intallation folder of the GIMP, so I assume you should try placing it there?

@jee, thanks, but it seems to be a winamp plugin for visualisations??? not a GIF maker!

hmm ridwaan, it had all kinds of very complicated animation making stuffs about two years ago.... *jee goes off to check her link* Otherwise just clusty for mocca.. or do a search on the forum using Madgic as poster. She is brilliant - or ask happy - he is now Monicanspy.. he worked with it if I remember correctly!

hmm was there not something on animation software on the last cd? or was that NetPlus CD?

maybe if i aslo explain what i wanna do

i wanna make a sig and avatar, try and figure out what's the difrrence and then try and figure out how to put them on lol. First time doing ne of these

Here is the one i made sofar for the bottome, thing it's the sig lol

I'll check the cd's quick

Unfortunately, I don't! That was like two months ago!
Maybe things have changed much now?

I used Animation Shop Pro, that comes with Paint Shop Pro to do my sig!

Its tough as there IS A 20KB limit in this forum! Please be aware your sig is unanimated, and already over the limit!

LOL! thats HUGE x 10 !!! U get what u beg for!

With Animation Shop , u have the option of reducing colours and collapsing identical frames into 1! Then there's also the possibility of getting rid of 1 colour completely by making it transparent!

Don't bother much with Animation Shop! Its not got much features for its size!

Well i decided to cut down on the amount, but the pics are 4k each but i can only add 3 that is the size limit then.... so gonna see if Animation shop does better.

If there is someting better plz tell me, i have no prob downloading it

Have you tried reducing the amount of colours in each pic?

I myself have been looking for a decent GIF maker for along time too, I also have no problem with the downloading of it! But to get a decent one is difficult, i stay away from trials, and rather opt for freeware !

Which version of animation shop are you d/l'ing?

I'm using version 3.00

Nope, but I recall that I had a thread and they helped me. Try searching for a thread about sigs, cause it's a common problem and [img] [img] doesn't help. Neon_Chameleon knows if you wanna pm him.

BTW, how many episodes of bleach are there in total at the mo?
