What temp is everyones P4 running at?
Idle = 26 Once windows has settled down
Load = 45 When Task Mngr shows 100% usage for at
least 10 min
Stock cooling but expensive aluminium case
*edit* Don't forget to mention whether you are using a stock cooler or a different one.

What I type has nothing to do with the people that employ me.
Mine idles at 42 highest ever reached is 64 while converting music to proper kbps X4(runs the program 4x),converting avi to mpg x2 (all settings Max incl. using HT), writing a DvD buffers jump up and down due to Maxtor sh... drive and runs a game in the background.
Ok i'll level with u guys i wanted to see if i could crash my PC!Only thing that happen was i learn how a Intel Cpu works! It spends time induvidually for a few seconds on each program. Not to diss but do AMD ppl multitask?

Idle's at about room temperature with the side of the case open. That's about 22C at the moment. But i've got the case closed now and removed the case fans, so it's sitting at 27C
Max while playing Battlefield 2 was 43C and the hottest it ever got was 48C while running Prime95 for a few hours.
Can't really comment on figures before i got my new cooler, except that it would idle at about 33C.
(it's a northwood core)

At the current clock speed of 2.2Ghz (not 2.4Ghz anymore) it's:
Idle 32'C
Load 59'C (Prime 95 - Torture test - Maximum heat)

One thing I've noticed is that my Newcastle Athlon 64 3200+ (socket 754), seems to run hotter than my old P4 2.8 Northwood did (which was permanently oc'd to 3.22).
My current chip idles at 43-44, and under load once got up to 68! (thanks to Prime95). The usual load temp is high 50's to low 60's. The sad irony is that I have aftermarket cooling on the chip (a Thermalright SLK-948U + Thermaltake A2016 fan, with Ceramique TIM). My CMStacker chassis also has 80 + 120mm intake fans plus 80 + 120mm exhaust fans. I can't even, for extended periods at least, run the chassis closed!
Maybe it's because my gfx card (an A400GT TDH) and CPU live reasonably close together (any owner of a K8NS should know how close the AGP slot and CPU socket are).
Rather frustrating to say the least!

I am getting myself a new gigabyte cooler. the big one that looks weird, it has a base plate and heatpipes that rase the heatsink and fan away from the mobo. COPPER!!!
I OCed my P4 hopefully it doesn't KO. its sitting at 3.2GHz witha idle temp of 36 and a load of about 50 - 55. Thats with me encoding an avi and playing BF2
