GeForce2 help

Post by insane »

Hi ppl..

Does anyone know if the GeForce2 mx200 2X / 4X with 64Meg DDR Ram From Leadtek is 3.3 volt or 1.5 volt?

The reason why i´m asking this is because I got myself a New M-board from Soltek(Cause I want to upgrade to AMD) On the AGP slot there is a sticker that says:"Warning, only 1.5 volt agp cards must be used, otherwise permanent circuit damage will occur". The M-board is AGP 4X / 8X. 400FSB Dual DDR. the whole nine yards.

I still have all my GeForces´ manuals and books etc, but nowhere it gives an indication of what the cards´ voltage is.

Can anyone help??

Hello,

Try to take a closer look at memory chips on your card. They should be marked with some digits standing for voltage - try searching memory manufacturer site for chip specifications and abbrevation.

Good luck!

check in bios. voltage varies with current agp mode... 3.3 volt in 2x and 1.5 volt in 4x... BTW if the card supports 4x and the board supports 4x it will run fine. all soltek is saying is dont put a card that doesnt support 4x or 8x in there
