Not just that - you can learn the apprentice riding skill at lvl20 now - which sort of sucks, because you can't laugh at people who don't have mounts.

It was 40, then 30, and now 20. It doesn't make it feel as "special" now though - I remember getting my mount and feeling like I've seriously accomplished something.

The game revolves around leveling fast and getting into raids. Thats all wow is about now. You still need a good coordinated group or guild to do the raids.

The badges allow you to get your gear or new players up to speed. Good in my books. Bad since every jackass can make as if they are the bees knees. Luckly weapons will seperate you.

Mounts. lvl20 for 60%, lvl40 for 100% and lvl60 will see flying at 150%. Thats a huge change on itself. no more racing on the ground because your mount is too slow. Epic flying is still epic flying and no change to that.

Druids are FINALLY getting new cat and bear forms. Alliance might not be too moved by it but horde players with that butt ugly cat form is dancing.

I'm surprised that they are releasing a new dungeon, bg and raid though. The game is definitely lacking in proper larger enviroment raids. Bring back world pvp rankings please :D

Right, I just did my first Wintergrasp, and while it was overall an enjoyable experience, I felt it was all but ruined by the fact that as soon as I get inside the keep, I DC.

And then, to make matters worse, it won't let me back into the game until someone has killed me in game.

Any ideas as to what the f*** is going on?

Wintergrasp suffers from extreme lag its not just you and blizzard havent fixed it yet, servers simply cannot handle the amount of people in one area such as wintergrasp.

I did arathi basin a few times, Horde kicks bottom in it, we lost like 3 matches out of all the hours I've spent playing there.

Think the longest AV ever was 2 days on Kel Thuzad. Before the AV nerfs I remebered being part of a 9 hour match the one day.

Only cuz they have outnumbered us 2 to 1 every time I played. The two times we were even numbered we kicked bottom.

Servers are down due to maintenance. They also have a notice up about the latency issues and I think that is probably the main reason for the current maintenance

They can't gank you in lvl 1 - 10/10 - 20 areas unless your pvp flag is on. So just put it off, and don't attack them.

Nope, there's maintenance every wednesday, so it's not because of the latency. However I do hope they sort that out.

A 12 year-old Norwegian boy saved his sister and himself from a moose attack using skills he picked up in the online role playing game 'World of Warcraft.' Hans Jurgen Olsen and his sister got into a spot of trouble when they encroached on the territory of one of these antlered cold weather staples (otherwise known as a moose). When the beast went on the offensive, Hans knew the first thing he had to do was taunt it so that it would leave his sister alone and she could run to safety. "Taunting" is a move one uses in World of Warcraft to get monsters off of the less-well-armored team members.

Once he was a target, Hans remember another skill he'd picked up at level 30 in 'World of Warcraft' -- he feigned death. The moose lost interest in the inanimate Hans and wandered off into the woods. When he was safely alone Hans ran back home to share his tale of video game-inspired survival.

See this is what video games does, it encourages people to help others, not go on mass killings and slaughter people, rape people, etc. etc.
