When BT games decided to eventually release my game and I can install it I would really like to join your fleet. I pre-ordered paid already and have a lifetime sub. Only couldnt download beta client because of limited cap. Well hope to see everyone soon.

Hi guys

I sent an email to BT Games and got a very quick reply from Jeremy.

Here is the reply I got:
The problem is a local logistical problem. We did however express our disgust at the possibility that they only release the title next week and have subsequently managed to get them to release today. They are shipping to stores as we speak and will have it for the weekend. All shipping orders however will only arrive on Monday.

Just an update for those wanting to get the game. Please note that you will have to download about 1gig of updates although the actual download size is about 400MB with the patch unpacking to 1gig. the beautiful thing is that as the patch is downloading it unpacks so once its down you can play

Hi

Got my game now for 5 days and am really enjoying myself. I am trying to do all the quests and am currently a lieutenant lvl 8, taking it very slow. Must admit that I am roleplaying a bit and that make my game play slower. So far the bugs and stuff although present are not gamestoppers.

thanks

I'll post some up if I remember!

I want to capture myself turning around to be greeted by a fully fledged fleet of Klingons, letting rip with ~20 Torpedoes! It's happened, too many times to mention. And they appear just after an epic battle :(

Stuart believe me you will be... often. Get used to seeing your ship blow up - Mr Norris has had too. LOL But then again he has kamikaze tendencies.

A good thing though, Stuart, will be when you start doing Fleet Actions... that is one of things that makes this game so cool... :) Then you get to see everyone's ships explode... but you plot your 'deathspot' to cause maximum damage to the enemies ships...

I played for a very brief while last night. Just the introductory missions. What am I supposed to do to join this elite South African fleet now?

Sadly it seems that both Mr. Norris and VinceThePrince do not realise that the goal is not to die rather than plan your death to cause the most damage

Stuart all you have to do is drop me a pm with your charactersname@handle

i will add you to the fleet

hehehe... I look at it as making the best of a bad situation... Especially when you get automatically dropped into a Deep Space Encounter... where all the Frigates are 34 level above you... :D

I'd like to avoid all conflict and never get killed. Can't I just sit back at Houston on earth and tell the rest of you what to do?

Alternatively, I'll probably opt for science.

Stuart it would work out better if you went for assualt since Mr. Norris and I are cruisers, Vince is going for science (healer).

We will see what your game style is like.

I will be online tonight although not too late since i have a flight to catch tomorrow. so in other words I will be up till 11pm :)

I help boost you through the levels so you can get a better ship

Okay, so in other words you want me to be the cannon fodder? Nice.

In FPS, I'm generally the sniper who finds some hole to hide in and just camp out there for the duration of the game, taking out whichever unlucky soul happens to prance by within my sights. If I can avoid conflict I will. I don't think I'd lead the world's best assault force, but I guess I could give it a try.
