We did independant tests for Telkom to determine just that for ICASA. Several MMORPG's were used including Guildwars, Everquest, WoW and Vanguard. Your average use accross those 4 were 11mb per hour, so a 1GIG cap will ge you at least 90 hours of play.
I have been playing MMO's since 2000 and I prefer Everquest and Vanguard. You can also play World of Warcraft but all of these you have a monthly subscribtion of roughly 14 USD

Haven't played Everquest or Vanguard before and not to keen to play World of Warcraft, I do play Lord of The Rings and paying 8.99 pounds a month is alot cheaper than playing Rappalez.
As for Guild Wars a good one to start on would have to be either Prophecies or Nightfall(Factions is more for PVP).

Flyff.
Please take my advice, and don't play that game. It is easily the biggest grind of a game I have ever played.

Re: MMORPG's...
Anyone playing Lord of the Rings Online on the European server?
Got the game as a gift but the patching is awful. I got the US client but I need the European version of the client. Its gonna take forever to just to download the patch (which is 9.6 gig). Is there anyone that has downloaded the LotRO: Siege of Mirkwood UK client and is willing to share it, please let me know. I live in the Northern Suburbs.
Also, I have the US client if anybody is looking for it...
