Can't give it a try just yet Dammond.
I'm a third of the way thru the Formula GT World in the Extreme Hall. Can't do any other races/trials etc til i finish the championship. 15 tracks and each one is at least an 1hr30min race. Its very tiring. 15 laps of the nurburgring is one of the races so at least i'll be getting some practise.

WOW! Well, im not doing too badly considering i got the game on Friday. I am only 10% done. How many Subaru's will I still win? Ne really cool ones?

LordPhoenix, did u adjust the suspention or nething? Leave it all stock if u did. Is there the 2004 Subaru with the big spoiler in the game? The spec onw we r using now only has a small spoiler?

I know Hawk got his greedy hands on a Logitech wheel a few months back. He reckons it was money well spent. I would really love to get one if i had the moola.

Hmm... I really need a break from the PC... I am starting to become ill because of so much time spent in front of it...

Time for some GT4. I hope this challenge will last a few more days though. :)

OMG!!!! Brilliant choice of car for the track Dammod... this car handles like a dream, very very stable!

I got a 7:44:503

I was worried, cause I thought you guys got 6:40's, but hey, guess I stil;l got the touch! :D

UPDATE: That above was my first lap. I hadnt played this game properly since June, so I thought I was really gonna be bad, hence I was totally relaxed. When I saw how my score owned, I got so excited, and here is the time for my second lap: 7:43:233 :!: Biiiiiiig improvement.

ROFL!! I see that I drive best when I am totally relaxed, although a bit of adrenalin (very little, for a short period of time) can help you cut the perfect corners... When I am getting frustrated, my lap times go from bad, to pathetic. Advice: If your score isnt getting better after 3 laps, just leave it, cause you are bound to get frustrated.

UPDATE2: Meh, you guys must be on holiday or something.
Just another hint, turn ghost car off by pressing (^). I find that I lose quite a bit of concentration when pacing myself with my ghost.
Until you guys reply, I'll just keep updating my time in my sig area.

It alows me to make full use of my late braking nature....anyway GAME ON!!!!!

Understeer, just a touch.... Although I must admit, rarely do I change the settings when I buy a car...
I am driving this subaru as it came, and it is beautiful!!!! Do you like to edit your settings?

BTW, this track is fun, but hard to get faster laps at a big pace, cause when you mess up right at the start of a lap, it is impossible to continue...

R you guys tuning the car at all? Cause dont.

Yeah, I agree, its a really nice car. I am using a modded one in my careers and it competes with the supercars easy.

Zell_D, do you have a wheel?

I have only got the game last week so I am sucking a bit atm. Ill try again l8er.

Naah, no wheel... I wish, but R1500 is too much for me atm. :(

UPDATE: I tried one more lap just now... and I made a little experiment: to drive without any sound.
Result: 7'44.678

I felt like I over braked some places, but without sound, you cant be too sure, cause you cant here the tyres.

UPDATE2: Well, 2 laps later, and check my sig.
I feel like I can still get another 10 seconds out of this track... the length of this track makes in near impossible to get a perfect lap though, unless you are a bot...

do u guys cut the grass anywhere? Be honest now :-) I must admit, i just went straight once or twice when i saw i was going too fast.

Lets say you may NOT cut the grass anywhere by more than about 1m. If you cant keep to the rules then go play The Sims or somthing. kk? Ill try tomz without cutting now.

Dude, only noobs cut the grass... although you might speed past the corner by cutting, it gives you bad form for the rest of the curve/straight, etc.

Trust me, you can go faster by not cutting corners. Only noobs are tempted to. :P

Hehe, I know. Thats the thing. I am a noob. I struggle to keep up with you guys.

Please can we make the next track Midfield Raceway with the Subaru Rally car 1999? Trust me, that rally car is really cool and well balanced. We can start in on moday.

Mmmm.... Dude... I just bought that car with my well earned cash....

*sigh* Fine, we can do that.
But next week it will be the winner who chooses the track and car again, and as much as Subaru is my best car manufacturer, we need to use different cars.

So fine, now we play Midfield Raceway with the Subaru 1999. No mods, no tuning, just using the car as you bought it.

I guess I owned the Nurburgring. :bigups:
Hehe, playing at 1 in the morning was worth it!

EDIT: So nurbirgring is officially over, we start with Midfield now.
FINAL Nurbirgring time: 7'34.281
