Was a long time ago. That I-Mate Kjam thing.

Now going to compare phones. Sooo many to choose from. Wish this was easier.

Lol, the I-Mate was still running WinMo, not Android.

Oh Ryan - that does look nice. And size is not really a problem. Having a look to see if it is on the upgrade list.

Nope - only the Flyer, Wild, Desire and Desire HD Typical

Ok - I stand corrected. I like the Tab for Skype calls but not for normal ones. I am too disorganised and often don't have my headphones close at hand.

So yes mousey - size is important. Too big is a problem.

I have sent the woman an email - but I expect to get a "I will find out" followed by "soon - perhaps the end of the year". Decoded that means "we are trying to get rid of all the old stock before we will let you have the new cool phones"

Guys on MyBB have started getting their S2s already. Some through MTN; at least one through Virgin Mobile.

Nice. Is your battery dead yet?

I saw this phone advertised on TV as available for the first time yesterday.

Enjoy it!

I wanted to get the phone cash, but MTN do not allow that in the first 2 months of a new smart phone release.
Only available on contracts.

Take whatever you are paying now and add about R120 - R160 pm. (Lower if you have a high value contract.)
It should be in that region. (Excl calls ofc)

@ sojourn
I have a question about that phone. I've looked at it's specs and all- very impressive. But the size of the thing has me wondering. How would you say it handles? It seems rather big and clunky- and somewhat uncomfortable. How would you describe it, and what phone did you have previously? How would you compare it?
