The content. WoW has a lot of content in it, and the sheer vastness of the world.

Also, how each class is fun to play and has their own unique method of getting by.

If you say lots of content, what exactly do you mean? Haven't you all been level 70 for what, like, 2 years now? Do they constantly introduce new endgame content? If so, like what?

Wow is always in on going developement. When BC came out it had 6 end game instance from the get go. Black temple was added with the 2.1 patch. Zul aman 10-man got added in 2.3 and Sunwell Platue is being added in 2.4.

The same reason you will keep on playing wow is the same reason you will drop it. Its too much content. Only a few ppl manage to actually make it to see end game content. And with every patch older end games get easier. But with that hte gap between the leaders and the new raiders just gets bigger and bigger.

The other major issue is telkoms consistant african standard service which means we will never be able to do anything with 200ms (our pure latency to europe).

Wow caters for everyone.

Please note: This game and these downloads are provided for EUROPEAN players ONLY. The game will not work if you attempt to play outside of Europe.
Read that on CABAL's site. Have anyone tried it yet?

We won't know until we try

I found a nice MMORPG last night. I've had a craving for MMORPG's lately so I've downloaded about 8 different ones. All turned out rubbish except for these two

World Of Kung Fu
9Dragons

World Of Kung Fu is really awesome and I've enjoyed it thus far... Ok, granted I've only played it for about 30mins this morning but it has the ability to jump (which is lacking in most MMORPG's) and it has an awesome graphics engine plus its free to download and play.

I have both WoW and GW. I can't seem to get into GW, too boring for my liking plus the max level being 20 REALLY irritates me. WoW is good but I find the monthly fees too much for what you get in the game. I have a lvl 31 Priestess and a lvl 17 Druid. I've got bored of BOTH characters already.

Each to their own, I respect your opinion, please respect mine :D

MMORPG's

Post by Doomextreme »

Well to me, if you are going to play a MMO, play one which you have to pay for, others like Rappelz and Flyff are a grind fest, really.

Guild Wars to me is the best online RPG, just hours of fun :D, also you only pay for it once :).

That doesnt at all relate to MMO... Paying for your cap is very different than paying FOR the game.

Then, technically, you're paying for Windows every single time you download updates for it. In fact, you're paying to use Internet Explorer, (or Firefox, depending).

No, you are not paying for the game. The game developers see no 1 c of what you pay for your cap. Also, there was no need for you to download the game, you could have installed it off of a disc...

Most people also get 'free 3 Gig Cap' per month. You pay your ISP for the service, thus you dont pay for downloading and using your cap. Wether you download the game or not, you pay your isp if you are on a fixed contract...

That is like saying you pay to go to the loo, because you pay the monthly water bill.

You are trying to be technical. Be realistic and get back On Topic...

No, they are completely seperate games. Same engine, same basic, other than that, it is completely different. Also you dont need Prophecies to run Factions for example.

There is only one expansion, that is Eye Of The North.
