Yeah, everyone is getting worked up about this.

I can't remember who started this thread, but if you were so determined to buy useless TT, then why even ask?

Yeah... Okay well look mad mike:

You've been given many opinions... most are saying TT is useless, Ryan is saying he likes it, but to be honest, you'll be wasting your money to be buying WC if only to silence your PC... (no offence to you ryan, silence is THAT important to you, so it was a good inverstment in your case  )

No...i say Ryan has a point for having a silent PC! I give him that! I didn't know he used his Water for silence before I set the comparision! But then comes the guys who just can't get it in their heads that TT is a big problem!

My point is that:

Why pay R1.5K for a useless setup that a Zalman 9500 for R550 will beat?

Yep, i agree wik.

Ryan is an exception, the TT can work for him, but to everyone who wants it to actually Cool, stay away from TT.

But see...he ain't got no TT big kaka! AFAIK...

But my advice is to stay away from all TT products except cases...and cabling isn't tooooo crap either!

But their 120MM fans are useless! I had one installed and it ran max at 1300RPM and thrusted very little air...then my Antec Tricools on the lowest speed setting with 12V it pushes waaaaaay more...even if I put it on 5Volts!

I am staying away from Tt Cooling, going to with the Zalman 9500 which be more than sufficient for my overclocking.

Cheers

Haha, jeez don't get so worked up guys...

And no, I don't have TT big water or whatever it's called.

I have a Koolance PC2-650 with 21K gold plated Koolance blocks, which is by no stretch of the imagination cheap. Available from www.synapsys.co.za

And MadMike, we're not moaning like children, I was under the impression we were debating? As is done on a forum... I think you're actually learning a lot by this thread from different peoples views.

Ya...that is correct...I woke up at like 6.30 the morning and saw it! My thermostat is not blown...in day it goes to just above 30*c
So have you taught that opty 170 who its daddy is yet? At 18C you would probably get 2.8Ghz with very low volts, you might even get 3Ghz.

PS: I wasn't saying I don't believe you (you did take a picture after all), I was just saying that you can't have that temp if the room is over 18C. If you have aircon, use it.

@Rayne

Not many people have used those setups, but ask Ryan, he has one.

Hmmm, well, I was just asking seeing their selling for half the price of Asetek integrated systems and I think some of 'em actually looks quite nice.

-=WiK1d=-, I will never buy Tt again, becuase I learned the hard way, you know my story, so don't worry.

I'll get a decent setup.

I just don't like the Lian-Li cases, and I'd prefer having everything integrated instead of having parts mounted onto a case.
