Question for PCF June
Re: Question for PCF June
Of all the PC games I've played, only Half-life, Starcraft, Diablo II and more recently, Fallout 3, have managed to hook me to the point where I sit lost in the game world for hours, only to emerge at 2am with shock at the lateness of the hour. A game only has me hooked when it removes the need for eat and sleep.
I remember playing the first Half-life for hours and hours on my old Pentium 133. That game just had the right balance of action and puzzles. I loved the corridors. At the moment, Fallout 3 definitely has me hooked, except for the occasional "one-too-many" supermutants to kill. Nothing a flamer can't fix though, lol.

Re: Question for PCF June
I have two. I will most probably still be playing Counter Strike when I'm 80 and can't walk or skate anymore. The second is Uplink. I don't actively play that game all the time, but at LEAST twice or three times a year, I install it again and play it. Greatest. Game. Evar.Drakonis wrote:What games have got you hooked?

Re: Question for PCF June
I play Fifa Manager 08 a lot( sometimes 40 hours a week). I always find something to improve in the game like making the 3d match more realistic. Other games I enjoy are KOTOR1, Age of Mythology and Oblivion. Other games I like are all on console. I used to play command & conquer: Generals and Zero hour a lot.

diablo and (don't laugh) mahjong
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

fallout 3 has me hooked, it gets boring, but then you see something new you havent yet, or you level up and gain new interesting perks, then you hooked again. Its defenitely a game you must stick out till it gets interesting and the enclave comes into play.
other than that, H.A.W.X isnt 2 bad defenitely needs a joystick and it gives you some thrills when you miss crash landing by a few meters, im loving c&c red alert 3 uprising, the new units just make the game n how it should have been from the start.

when in doubt, paddle out...

(seriously, though, your reply's about three days too late. the question is already past its sell-by date.)
