High cost of the internet is NOT the cause of the decline in forum usages. I have not seen any, and I have been around for a long time. There are also not less people online, only due to the new forum, the general forum users cannot see the list of people online but not active. For the mods and admins who can see those figures, there are far more guests reading the forum, and users logged in but peep in at intervals than before.

As for using the chicken (yes, thats what we will call it although it should have been something that whined more as that was what a fair number of users did), it was just a lazy way of using the forum and therefore people missed out on threads to answer - because they think that only those that show as popular are "valuable"

I find that since the chicken crossed the road, my technical questions are answered far quicker and by a greater variety of forumites.

It is very easy to lurk on the WHOLE forum now, because when you refresh, you not only see the changes in a few threads, normally those in the Chill and spam threads, but the whole board.

Shalom there
Sorry for late reply... because i was pushed to my limits, and been busy with some art, and some other stuff.
Well i have had enouph people pushing me around, and they mearly transferred there bad Karma to me and i sat with it the whole week... I am sensitive...

I would argue with you that the high cost DOES interfere with the number of people interacting.

Secondly I disagree with the s_i_d_e b_a_r as I found it convenient and easy top access when on the fly, with the arangement of the forum I find it hard not to respond to old threads which i do by accident. Apart from a few which i did talk about like Tamsini...
Oh yes it is "easy" to Lurk on the whole forum when being forced to do it when you just want to go through certain topics for the day with limited time etc etc... blah blah blah

I have said my say , Please take my words as ideas of information for the future weather you agree with them or dont... ((yeah yeah my spelling sux, i am temporrarly dyslexic)

Love and hugs
Danielle
