no a chip just blew! the guy dat picked up from my house sed he'd try cover it up so hold thumbs.

Hope they don't spot it as well,

A SEAGATE! WHAT? I would have expected that issue with a maxtor (k maybe thats a little harsh - but they aren't known for their reliability!) but not a seagate. Was just curious!

just confirming. it is (or was) a seagate.
It died a very slow and eventful death.
