*sigh* I think my head just exploded! No charge is induced. Its to do with the relative permiability of ferrite (between 1000 and 20000) VS air(1) which determines how much it will magnetise within a magnetic field. This is physics 1, people! (of course its entirely possible that its tongue in cheek and I am seriously sleep depri...zzzz)Ferrite chokes used to be used because they hold the induced charge longer, so we can only assume "supering" the ferrite means they hold even more charge. Or, something along those lines.
