So you don't play it on PC? meh I need to add some frequent players as friends. The ones I have added either don't play much or are constantly suffering from PEBCAK

We are very happy to present the contents of our next Battlefield 3 game update! This is a big one, rolling out June 4-5. Head to the Battlefield Blog for the full details, including a solution to the M26 dart issue, reduced suppression, and the introduction of colorblind support on console:

Meh, looks like today was the last time I will be playing bf3 in a while

Well it has not come out just yet, I read somewhere that it will be out at around 4pm. some of the supposed fixes seem pretty pointless to me.....why wont they fix actual problems like the crashing that so many experience or the fact that the game does not always launch first time

Was thinking about that. But where can I buy it, I see it is on the origin store.....but getting it there would require it to be downloaded right??

I want to buy it but having to download it would be a big waste of R400.

I can get the expansions from origin as they are only product keys, the last one was anyway.......but at least I can play again now.

//But meh I need to get used to the changes, the mouse movements feel different, my SKS is rubbish now......

not sure I follow you on this comment. even if you get the expansions on Origin, you would still need to download them anyways.

also remember, the latest 2-3Gig patch is that big cause it already includes the content for the expansions, so I would say rather buy it for the R400 and don't make that download a waste as opposed to having to download that 'patch' and not being able to use the new content.

Yeah my internet is throttled thanks to the 22gb I dedicate to the PSN+ free games and GW2 patch not to mention the E3 week. So I was surprised to find a 2gb patch for BF3 ontop of that but then I heard the content isnt free. So not impressed and BF3 will probably be leaving my SSD in the next month or so.

I get the patch from somebody I know who has a fast(at times) uncapped line. All I want to know is, is premium just a set of codes or is it a set of rather large files?

If it is just a bunch of codes then sure I will buy it.

well as I said, if you say you get the patch from somebody else, then by getting the patch you will have all the files you will need for the premium content.

no it is just a download on your account. (well the way I did it was with no keys)

Okay Premium is a bunch of codes to unlock the content that will be downloaded to your machine in the updates/patches. Its the same thing that happens with COD. The DLC is downloaded to your machine so that when you unlock it you have immediate access to it.

Thanks, now I must just have a look at the payment options again.....I hope they allow for EFT.

The R400 is worth it it seems, since you get access to the upcoming expansions a bit earlier then everyone else :)

well I bought it through Origin via the Battlelog page, not via Origin program, and I wasn't sent any keys.

nothing

as it is account bound so guess the "key" is automatically associated/linked to account.
