I'm gonna wire all my fans in Parallel on that PCB...but for some reason when I hooked it up to the power source some of the tracks blew off...so I'm gonna make one with bigger tracks now

The part where the tracks blew off sounds rather quite interesting... Were the tracks shorted or were they too thin?

The tracks will heat up slowly if they were too thin. I can't imagine they're drawing too much current. How many have you got in parallel? If the tracks "blow" off, you can be pretty sure you've got a short somewhere!

Typically, min track width of 0.5mm per amp, but rather work with a safety factor of 2 and keep to 1mm per amp.

Use VERO board. Its got track already all you need to do is cut it to the size you want. The track are 2mm wide and are spaced to fit disk drive power connectors

How about this, Image How are you going to cut it? Laser or yourself with a dremel? If you like this, I could mail it to you in CMX format.

That is pretty cool you have there...

I'll be using my dremel...

I was thinking of making one with jagged edges like razors or teeth...

Thanks, wanted the snake to look scarier though. But I had to keep it easy to cut. If yould cut it and have it custom painted it would look teh uber I think.
