How can you believe in something so ridiculous, like a malevolent, omniscient being that transcends all spacetime, yet is so insecure he punishes everyone who doesn't drink his blood, and then find something like shape-shifting reptilians insane?
They both score less than 2 points on my feasibilty scale.

I was told about that by a friend's grandfather. He used to love telling us stories about the war. He was part of a a British forward recon mission towards the end of the war and they were tasked with monitoring a V2 Rocket research base in the north of Germany. It was a secret SS base where they were trying to integrate their nuclear and V2 program and he witnessed the use of a device that took off vertically and hovered around for an hour before landing safely. It made no noise at all. I always never thought anything of it.Capanno_Del_Kimakigami wrote:Anti gravity is a reality. The germans had it in WW2.
Tested it, of course. The yanks took it after the war, and they were not able to reproduce, let alone better it.
Sorry about the off-topic post.
Back to the topic, I believe in aliens. Where they come from I wouldn't know but they do exist.

neon,
invert mouse sucks, why not try playing with the mouse upside down? much more fun!
I saw a documentry about UFO's last week. Them claim "eligibly eligibly" 'dat UFOs DOES NOT exist! Your all imagining it!
At the end of WW2 or something like that, people started experimenting with ways of flying, they designed a flying sourcer that could hover over anything (to avoid landmines). They also designed air planes that were very large, and used the first type of yet engines.. At that period of time, people were not used to seeing stuff in the air or on the ground that does not have wheels, so they all started reporting "UFO's"
Who saw that documentry?
To me, that is absolute bulltwang!
I think the american goverment made that documentry to fool us into not thinking UFO's can exist, or to stop wide-spread panic or something... I dunno, but what I do know, is that we are not alone in this universe, and one day, things may be like in that movie : "5th element"...
or like in "Freelancer"... That would be cool...

As a third year genetics student...We learnt that, technically, the possibility is there that there could be prokryotic organisms out there somewhere evolving slowly, that might someday become beings like us, because it is believed that we evolved from similar prokaryotes. Personally, I don't think theres anything out there, but hey, heres to an open minded society...

Something interesting...The prokarya that we allegedly evolved from live on earth about four million years ago. At that time, earth was very similar to many uninhabitable planets in our solar system today. The air on early earth was not breathable, and oxygen was as toxic as carbon monoxide is today. There was no ozone surrounding the earth, and the earth was almost liquid it was so hot... apparently
