Sorry for intruding on a late post but was just going back few pages on your thread.
Cool, but the airflow is seriously restricted! Rather cut a full sized hole and then cover it with that grill you posted.
Im gonna see what I can organise. Any ideas what to cut the holes with? Then I'll put the grills over that...
You know what i used. I used a hot knife and my gas stove to cut my 120mm hole in my side panel. It took me an hour to cut. And 20minutes to get it round and smooth.

No problem man, any advice is cool!

Thanks Do0bs! Im now thinking that I wanna cut a hole in my perspex for better airflow with one of those bits you atttach to a drill. I have no idea what its called but I wanna see if I can try use it. Im just worried that if it gets stuck its gonna crack the perspex but Im having second thoughts about that now because I already have so many holes in it. I have the day to myself on Monday (No work, no fiance) so Im gonna get down to some serious update posts, pics and some modding!

Remember with teh rear of the connector facing you, and teh side with the notches facing up, the left is red, and the right is yellow, the black wires are the same.

I take it this has to do with putting new molex cons on. Im gonna bundle the wires and write down where they went otherwise I will forget where they go!

Thanks Hman

I've decided to rename my mod to 777/Trip7. Project Newbie wasnt really grabbing me no more and Im stealing DAE's idea and I wanna try put 777 on the side of my case. I renamed it because I want my deadline to be 07/07/07 (7th July 2007)

Hope this goes down well

Don't worry about the black wires. They are all connected to the same point in the psu.

Try sandblasting your logo on. It's cheaper and quicker.

How on earth am I gonna do that? I was thinking about creating a custom stencil and spraying it just above the perspex side...

See my Case mod of years ago. http://www.pcformat.co.za/modules.php?n ... c&start=15

Well, not years, but before I got my current case. Any tombstone maker who uses a plotter to cut sandblasting stencils can do that. If you are willing to post your perspex to me, and pay for shipping back, I'll do it for you.

That looks pretty cool Hman! How much did that cost you? Im thinking I should have it on the top right of my perspex, probably only going to be 3cmx5cm. All Im gonna need is '777' on it

Lol, I work for a tombstone manufacturer. I just gave the sandblaster a cooldrink for his efforts. I made the stencil myself as I am the Lithographer there.

Cool! You think it would be cheaper if I courier my perspex to you and get you to do it than if I take it into a place in CT and get it done here? Would you know, roughly how much it would cost?

Can't say what guys will charge. Some people are crazy with their prices. Ask around. I'd say R38 to post to me, and R38 back.

Doing good, the guys with small budgets seem to be more creative in their methods.

I'm planning on modding this case. (Which is my current case). http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/produc ... ts_id=8835
7600GT > X1650Pro > 6600GT > X1300 > 7300. Gaan vir die 7600GT, of as jy 'n tweede handse X1800XL of so iets kan kry.

Looks like it can have some awesome mod potential! Pitty you cant see what the side panel looks like but hey!

Image

The cable management will probably help alot! You gonna put a Water Cooling rig in the case? I've always wanted to do that but my budget says NO! Air cooling will do for me now anyways!

Im off to bed, I gotta work early shift tomorrow! Hoping to post some pics soon though! I'll keep everyone posted

Side panel is pretty plain, Although the case can handle external watercooling I'm not gonna do it. I'd rather use air cooling, no mess no fuss. Good night.

The Triton is nice, I have the silver one...

The side panels are basic, air vent over the cpu, otherwise plain. You should be able to get quite a few pics of the Triton if you google a bit for it... Lots of space, 2x120mm fans, with HDD screwless mounting at the front lower fan, keeping your HDD's nice and cool. Water pipe outlets ate the back standard fit...

Not a bad price for quite a nice case...

EDIT - I forgot the lower vent part as well... The side of the Triton looks basically exactly the same as the above images of the other case. The Triton's side panels has a slightly 'indented' handle, but yeah...
