Good news everyone. I took this futurama spoof from ICC and posted it on this forum :D

Gut was easy. 3 attempts and we had him down. Rot on the other hand had us wiping for 2 hours. So tonight we are giving him a go again. This time changing the timing of our runs from instantly when the big blob is formed to after it finishes its cast. Will see how it goes. Rot is down to 2.4mil hp so far. So not too far to go anymore.

A quick question on a rumour but do we only have 10 attempts per big boss on each wing?

10 per wing, rolling over, so if you one-shot a wing the next one have 20... however do not quote me on that, my understanding of that confusing blue post was mediocre to say the least.

just because "mr my-mage-is-my-main-now" hasn't bee there doesn't mean we haven't started ;)

We've done minimal raiding over the holiday. Just started doing ICC this Raid week.
we downed Marrowgar on our first try, but we're currently having difficulty on Lady Deathwisper. People not paying attention to which adds they should be burning down. And of course in 10 man any deaths are a major setback, if not a guaranteed wipe.

As a hunter I only focus on the skeletons with the bubbles to bring the bubble down then move back to Deathwisper. An easy way to remember the adds for range or rather for a hunter is when she screams "...curse of flesh." distracting shot on the add and burn the sucker.

The airship battle is still the best in the instance and the most fun.

Deathlord Saurfang just slap a trap infront of him and when the 2 adds spawn get range to pull the adds over the frosttrap and nuke them. Dont rez the dead that died from the debuff because it persists through EVERYTHING.

Festergut have range spread out so they dong get hit when they puke. When the spores spawn make sure that you have someone assigned to run in or out to the right crowds.

So far the new content hasnt been extremely hard but it hasnt been a free ride either. It has without a doubt been easier than ulduar though and it might be interesting to see the hardmodes.

Ok, we just downed Lady Deathwhisper.
Took a few tries, but in the end we got everything worked out.

Tomorrow we'll do the Gunship Battle. Can't wait, it looks fun

Listed below are recent fixes we have applied to the game. Keep in mind that some of these changes may not be active until after the realm has been restarted.

To review previous in-game fixes, please visit: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... 3880&sid=1

01/07/10
Rotface’s hit points have been reduced in the 10 person encounter.
Stealthed rogues should no longer trigger traps in Ice Crown Citadel from long range.
The base damage bonus from Hunger for Blood has been reduced from 10% to 5%.
The bonus damage rogues gain from attack power for poisons has been decreased. This applies to Instant Poison, Deadly Poison, and Wound Poison.

We got him to 1.8/7.3mil hp so that is around 24%. The longer the fight drags on the faster you get the diseases so its either time based or hp based in which case you should dps him down untill 30% or a 2nd big blob explosion and then bloodlust, stop curing and simply nuke it. Healers will have to heal without mercy from then on.

a shaman in each group with cleansing out is a boon in this fight - but you'd be lucky to have 3 shamans total, best put them to use.

Generally I always have a healing stream (which is annoying as the pallies always say 'don't use mana-tide') out and one of the dps shammies will use the cleansing if there's a lot of poison involved (as their healing stream heals for less)

I'm a resto shaman, and bloody proud of it.

Well of the new bosses we downed festergut, the blood princes and rotface on one occassion. No one is in the mood for professor and looks like this week we will still try the blood queen over him.

End movie for Wrath so view at own discretion.

*sigh* as usual I didn't think of the fact that it was Tuesday when I got home from work the other day ... I felt like playing some WoW and I couldn't so typical lol!

Started the DL but neohell let us down again because on another PC we were DLing drivers for our sound card ... didn't think that neohell would not be able to handle both DLs at the same time ... so the drivers ended up failing due to response time issues with 7mb left ...

*sigh*

typical ... couldn't play yesterday had dinner with the rents so MaYbE today I will get to play

Joined a 25man last night for VoA and we dropped the Ice dude. Very nice fight. We dropped him on the first go without any troubles. Out of the 25 ppls only one died. And check what dropped for me http://www.wowarmory.com/item-info.xml?i=51464. And a noob in the raid wanted to buy them off me for a mere 500g. ROFL.

Probably wanted that to cheat addons like gearscore. One of our locks has a cheat set and its been fooling pugs for a few weeks now.

Wiped once and downed him the 2nd time on 10man. I think mages wishing they had that frozen orb spell, I know I do :P

As for the video...
