Are you referring to BloodRayne? It's probably because you have a faster CPU.

nope... what gave you that idea? Nvidia cards are just as good as Ati, its just the pixel shaders on the nvidia cards arent as good as Ati's one even though nvidia is using ps 3.0 and Ati is using ps2..... wierd i know....

If you run HL 2 on 2 PC's with the exact same specs, except one with Ati and the other Nvidia, the Ati one will run slightly faster, perhaps 5fps or so... also check that your game is running in Direct X 9 mode, some of the Nvidia cards run the game in DX 8, unless you change it in the console.

how do I check what mode I am in? How do I change to DX9 mode? Will I have to change it each time I play?

My card is on dx9, and I didn't set anything.
As far as I know it is the Nvidia FX 5xxx range(and lower, of course) that defaults to dx8

If it's just the FX range that's set to DX 8 then you don't need to worry, but if you want to check, just go into your graphic settings and you should see whether it's set to DX 8 or DX 9.

to check what settings you are on, go to the video options and check the advanced option and see which option you are using....

The big 111 has been offically rockorz'ed. What an awesome movie! If only it was real.

Colin Farrell as Barney, he be better at that than in Alexander.

ya it would be cool... I mean they brought out AvP as a movie (even tho it was because of the original comic) so why cant they bring out a HL2 movie? The special effects needed already exist!!!

8O :) :D

Let's all rather hope they don't, it will most probably be a joke & just ruin the legacy.

Like Doom3 & BloodRayne for example.

Hmmm you now make me wonder about having only half a life without Half life....
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.
