CaseMod - [no name yet]
Well, started with the yellow coat last night... problem. Why would, after 2 coats grey primer, 3 coats matt black and 2 coat of yellow, pencil marks still come through loud and proud? Anyone have any ideas? Have tried rubbing it out with an eraser, and wet sanding, but nil.
Will do a small update tomorrow, camera was charging so couldn't upload the pics.

Ai, should have thought of that. So either sand everything down to take off the pencil, of work it into the paint job somehow.DoOb wrote:Did you take the pencil off before you started spraying, thats what you should have done if you didnt.
Um otherwise, you got just a few HDD's there hey hehhe.
LOL KB, i knew someone would have a crack at me.

I had an idea that i have yet to put into effect
I'm so sick and tired of having my media and game spread out all over my hard drives that i came up with this idea:
I would use two computers in two of the same cases conjoined with hinges down the back for easy maintanence and a clip in front so that it locks shut the cases would need to be switched around though so that the two motherboards would face opposite sides.
One case would be for gaming the other for media
Specs
The media pc would'nt ned to be anything fancy:
1.6 Core2duo
1 gig ddr2 800mhz
128 ATI radeon 2200 HD
Sound blaster Audigy 7.1 HD
Windows XP Media Centre Edition
The gaming pc would be a beast
3.4 Core2duo
3 gigs ddr2 800
512mb Geforce 8800GT
Sound blaster Audigy 7.1 HD
Windows XP Pro
I would build a usb dual kvm switch into the case for easy transferring between systems.

What about using a server case coz those are quite big and can easily fit 2 motherboards, I think a one of those tall server cases would do. you might need to do some modding to the case though.PFS wrote:Ummm... sounds good. the modding to it would be more difficult than with two cases. and i did think about using one, but the problems that i ran into with it are alot more than with the two case designkarlschulz7 wrote:What about using a server case coz those are quite big and can easily fit 2 motherboards, I think a one of those tall server cases would do. you might need to do some modding to the case though.PFS wrote:Ummm... sounds good. No problemo, it should take you a while to mock up a sketch. Follow the tutorial in the beginning, it's quite helpful.
If you get stuck, click your heels together three times, slap your forehead and do a hand stand, and scream I am a leprechaun.
If that doesn't help, check the help file.
Otherwise PM me, I'll help you.
