They're very similar but I'd go with Samsung - they seem the better choice when you compare similar models side by side.

Had this LG at work once. Brand new out the box. One day the pixels started dying. And they didn't stop dying. Its enough to put me off LG screens. I've been using Samsung for all of my owning-a-pc-life.

I got a 22 inch LG. Very happy with it. LG offers a 7 day return for any dead pixels to start of with.

Samsung are better IMO. But it would be difficult to tell the difference in image quality between the two they are so similar.

I would rather go for a Samsung monitor over an LG one :D

I've had both. Last year had a Samsung, now a LG. Side by side they are almost identical, with the LG able to go slightly brighter.
I prefer the LG's stand but other than that I can fault neither on image quality or build quality (no dead pixels on either).
I'd say go with the one you can get the best deal on.
