Data Recover for Optical Discs?

Post by Stuart »

If I was using a DVD+R to record a video feed through a DVD recorder straight to DVD, and then the disc gave an error while finalising, so that it cannot be read in any DVD player I have since tried, is there any way for me to recover what was recorded? I really need to recover the audio more than the video. I somehow don't think its possible, but it's worth an ask.

CDRecovery Toolbox (Free App) for optical disc data recovery.

Another option (paid-for) is Smart Projects Isobuster Pro.

If they don't help then I guess the disc is truly unreadable.

If you really desperate, then a data recovery service is recommended. As long as they have a no recovery, no payment policy
