What will happen to the hardware and will 64-bit cpu be in every pc?

M$ talked to us about it at the varsity a few days ago.
My view: you would have to get MUCH better harware. As for 64-bit cpu: this is still beta and longhorn will most likely be the first windows version to offer decent support for it. But it is only shceduled for release in 2006 (so read 2007 at the earliest: Programmers and Marketing people doesn't very often see eye to eye when it comes to release dates).
