E8400 Sub10

My hands are freezing, been overclocking with my window open here, Durban tonights air temps are 10 degrees. How wonderful is that.

So overclocking time with basically my window open and trying to superPI.

I did try for 5ghz, but i think watercooling not gonna cut it. Maybe ICE water, but definitely DICE.

Will have two loops going, two separate watercooling systems on the board, two for the Chipset and PWR chip and then my cpu and gfx card. See if that helps.

Anyway here are some pics.

Just have to persevere, the cold air helped alot tho, And volts are still safe for my chip at least.

I did a new sub 10

Yea Firestrm, Me and Mike were playing to do a get together again sometime.

Maybe by then he will have a P45.

W00t Rob im gonna go for 5ghz on ICE water this week. This weather is mental, wish i was up in jozi right about now,

its freezing in jhb, trust me on that one... lol BTW i managed to get 4.2 stable on my e84... but temps are wacked... lol

DUDE thats mad! I WANT! lol im running intel stock cooler atm so no overclocking for me lol... BUT i should be getting my 2 8800GT's this week, and ill hook up my trip rad to my Quad and push it a bit, I wont get any sup pi records or big mhz cause its a quad, but i gonna push for some mad 3dmark scores! When i get some cash together im gonna get an E84 or E85 and push the crap outta it!!!!

Hows your back doing. heheh. I think that waterblock of mine needs to be sub 0 for that 5ghz. If i can just get into windows im gonna be stoked, and then quickly get the screenie, heheh

Only problem is that just starting up CPU-Z for the screenie will probably push it over the edge... oh well, only 1 way to find out, good luck and well done on what you've accomplished so far
