Sorry but were they any good?

Anyway back to the matter at hand, I’ve heard people say that Elfen Lied is an example of “guro”, I had to look up the word on Google and followed a link to a gallery depicting images that borders on indescribable. I would urge anyone easily offended to stay away from “guro” but its also human nature to be attracted to this genre.

Ok. Just finished it and wow, what a loose ending

Gonna watch ova, I have watched 0 tv or anything else in the time I watched this. Lol, watched it over 3 days tho. Sheesh. Too many trails of thoughts floating around my mind.

I finished watching Elfen Lied a week or so ago...it was really amazing!! I really enjoyed it. Definatly the best anime series iv seen so far (havent watched too many yet)

I understand ADV Films are having some problems at the moment. This does not bode well for the Elfen Lied OVA which ADV has yet to release, I was hoping for a release date this year, guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
The ending theme (Be your girl by Chieko Kawabe) is currently my cell phone’s ring tone plus found the English translated text as well

I think she can be Nyuu, she looks friendly...but then Lucy can also be friendly to an extent

I really hope this OVA for Elfen Lied is going to be released!! I think im gonna cry if it isnt!

ADV is cutting away almost all of their upcoming titles and several of their titles that are currently being released. They will still carry most of their older titles such as Gantz, Get Backers, Golden Boy, Hello Kitty, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Noir, Pretear, Princess Tutu, and Samurai X.

Rumors are circulating that ADV is having tough financial issues with the investment part of their business through Sojitz. No official statement has been made as of yet.

1st Episode is Monday as well (week and weekend cycles remember)

All I caught of the new shows was FF:Unlimiteds credits today.

Except there were no credits, just a Chocobo running in a loop then jumping -wiggy.

I’ve found some of the current developments somewhat disturbing; new sinister and powerful characters entering the fray and Nana vowing to kill or put down” a certain someone” when next they meet, just to name a few. I was happy to see that” a certain someone” is currently able to say more that a single phrase all the time.
The manga has a lot more fan service than the anime, which is never a bad thing.

Yeah, Lucy isn't as likable in the manga either. I'm yet to read all of it, just browsed through a few chapters, but I did note it's heavier than the anime, and very much diffirent.

I didnt find the anime that heavy, was actually one of my first proper Japanese audio anime...wait, I think it was my first actually 8O

The manga gives a lot of back-story and the diffirences are huge, it's not like the anime. In the manga Lucy is really not to be ****ed with. She has more vectors and their still growing in range. Mariko has 50 with a 30m reach. Thus luckily manga's black and white and does not feature the color red...

I'll see what happens this weekend, maybe I'll make some time to read all of it.

Guess I’ll wait for the TV series to finish its first run on Animax and for rest of you to catch up to the manga before I say anything more revealing about the manga. So I figure that’s about three weeks before we’re all on the same page.
