The setup I gave you was for a Supra.

I will go buy a charger tonight and go through some testing and find you the best setup......

GT-R, I agree with you gearing tips and the suspension, but also level 3.

But your drive wheels MUST be a lower pressure! So front wheels can be two clicks higher than standard and rear two clicks lower. A higher pressure on a wheel decreases the contact area.

I used to race at the late Wesbank Raceway, I know.

ON the Tire thing. I do agree, but I found it a bug in the game. I actually run better times with a stage 2 suspension, and tire pressures swapped around, than with a stage 3 suspension and tire's the right way round.

Going through the official Pro street forums, all the top drag time holders are using the same setup. Stage 2 suspension, with weird-arsed tire pressure setups.

I am into cars in real life aswell, being the owner of a highly modified Corsa Gsi Turbo :)

The one thing I find irritating about the testing is you have to endter a race to test different setups. Why could they add testing in the garage? Cos you have to go into your career, select a race, and tune from there, where you should rather be able to go into your garage, but your parts etc...and test right there. :x

I agree dude. That is rather annoying.

If you could instantly test your machine, it would save alot of time. it would also give you a better view of what the changes do to your car.....

Oh...BTW...got the Challenger...that car is awesome!! Will be able to keep it for at least half the game before I have to upgrade to a < 7 second car

Oaks (and ladies), I am not 'jacking this thread and don't expect a torrent of replies, but I got hold of NFS: Most Wanted on budget over Xmas (missed it first time around) and was having an absolute blast....until.... a power surge canoodled my HD, wiping it clean! I was like 35% of the way through and just cannot put myself through the first part again. I was number 10 on the blacklist. If anybody has or knows where I can get a savegame for where I was I would much appreciate that. (I found a site called NFS savegames that had one, but it had one car, and to fully enjoy most wanted you need a few. I had the porsche, the tt, and a mercedes. Any takers?

Finished the game about 2 weeks ago. This was not EA's best attempt in NFS titles.

Very boring and very easy.

Carbon was better but most wanted was the best

Any-one else have problems with the game "stuttering" every now and again?

Anyway, I just installed the patch that came with this months cover disk, but now my game doesn't even launch! WTH?? It reads my cd, then it goes to to load screen for like half seconds, and then it crash and I get the error:

[text invisible to mods] me too, but I removed it after the first failed attempt [/text invisible to mods]

Maybe I should install the game on another pc and patch it there, see what it does.
