Push it to the max but make sure that you keep it cool!

hey guys i have a problem when i try and overclock my cpu past 300fsb my cpu is a e6420 2.13ghz and im also running my 8800gts core clock at 632mhz and my memory clock at 1870mhz . but when i try to put my fsb higher the computer sounds like its struggling the fans keep switching off. my power supply is a 480wat. do you guys think i need a larger power supply.

Well a slightly bigger one would be nice just to be safe.
What brand is your current PSU? :P

i think i bigger PSU would be a really good option esspecially if you are going to overclock your machine.

MEh-i've got a 450watt PSU and I've got my FSB to 1700 (QDR).
What motherboard do you have?
Soon Google will know everything...including how to divide by zero :(
