Has anyone gotten an Iburst usb modem working under linux? If so could you give me some tips

Have you tried wdial?
Plug in the modem and type lsusb in terminal and see what comes up. Configure it from there

What distro you running?

OpenSuse 10.3 btw.

EDIT: Those seem to be for a 3G usb modem.
