Where cn I get it.

Post by zippy »

Hi ppl

Anyone know where I can find a free windows c++ compiler/builder.

I want to learn c++ programming, but all the free ones I find need a dinkum dos box to run in. I will be using win2000 professional, which has an "emulated" form of DOS if I am not mistaken.

Any help would be appreciated.

As far as I know Both Borland and MS have free command line compilers, so check out their websites or do a search on the subject in your fav Engine. You will Need a good free IDE to code in as well. Try to search for "ultra edit" or "VIDE". Both require a minimal amount of setup to get it working with your compiler.
