vista and zonealarm

hi all.

running xp home, with avgav free and zonealarm.

just after i installed zonealarm my pc will not let me connect to the net, when i disable vista to start up at boot up evrythig works fine. if i start zonealarm i cannot log on to the net again. in the settings zonealarm says that i should be able to surf on the default setting, as i have not changed anything i am now confusalated.please help. want to be as protected as possible.

Are you running the latest ZoneAlarm version? There were initially compatibility issues with Vista, but I've heard that they've been sorted out. If your version is outdated, upgrade. If you are running the latest version, then they probably haven't fixed all the issues yet, and you should probably look at a different product.

I'm also confusalated. You're running XP Home but you disable Vista on startup? Huh?

sorry schase, i meant "when i disable zone alarm autostart at boot up".

I am running the zonealarm version on one of the latest pcformat disks.

@rusty : how big is comodo, cause i am using a cell phone to connect at 2 bucks a meg.
