"Glue" fan wires to PCB

Post by Kenjutsu »

I need help from the pro's. I want to "glue" the wires of my Antec TriCool fan onto the PCB. From my previous experience, these wires can easily break off from the PCB, and are a pain to re-solder.

I would like to glue them safely onto the PCB, hopefully preventing them from breaking off so easily. What type of glue/resin can you recommend?

TIA

Have you tried clear silicon glue?

Hot glue sticks and a glue gun works best. Also easy to remove again.

Onto the fan PCB itself, where they are soldered to the board.

I've done it to a few fans with just being careful + a glue gun :)
