Zalman VF1000 on 8800GTS

Post by Dust »

I'm looking at this cooler for my card but i've noticed it needs an add-on called the RHS-88, for the memory, when used on GTS/GTX cards. Anyone's view on this? Maybe you have the same?

Why I wanna get this is because of the fact that I bought my card second hand and noticed that the memory heatpads are in seriously bad shape. This can only mean the previous owner fiddled with it. Where can I find new pads?

jip, you have to buy that separately, which adds another R300 to the price. I'd personally go for the ThermalRight HR03 plus, which while bigger , is more efficiant and comes with everything, except a fan I think, but then you can slap 120mm on.

Ya I saw the thermalright cooler. Are they good though? Does it have memory heatsinks included?
