I dont see that thing as being practical... I see you walking into a business meeting and just telling them you need to leave your watch switched on, you are expecting an important call...

I used to work for a company that was developing a cellphone watch. They went bust. I dont work for that company anymore.

That thing is cool, but I wouldnt get it as a primary phone. Wearing an earpiece 24/7 would be an annoyance plus nothing can replace a good qwerty keypad. Think ill stick with my WM6 i600. Id get it as a second phone.

it depends how functional it is in practice. For example, you can balance a cell-phone between your shoulder and ear, and still keep your hands free, whereas this it removes both hands being potentially free, in its basic form (bluetooth earpieces aside etc).

Also, if it gains enough of a following, then it could become a new technological trend, which influences sales, promotions, production thereof, etc, and affect other mobile-esque technologies. If it is underpricing cellphones, then it automatically becomes more desirable, due to cost. Only time will tell whether it picks up off the ground or what. It may look silly and seem impractical currently, but people are guaranteed to be weird and unpredictable for marketing purposes and tastes!!!

I just thought of the perfect use for this thing.....

Bikers could use it while riding.
