The official HL2 ep 2 thread (spoiler warning)

For those who preloaded and can play for a few days before everyone else, what do you think of the game?

I'm currently somewhere in the second chapter of the game (I don't get much time to play games these days) and I must say that I'm really impressed. The way that the antlion tunnels (that's where I am right now)have been made is absolutely awesome, and so far the actual storyline is very immersive, to the extent where I can't wait to see what happens next. I have a feeling that the outdoor, open environment parts of the game are going to live up to the hype - can't wait to get on to them.

(Those of you who ignored my spoiler warning and are reading this without having played the game yet. Be prepared for a major shock early on in the game. I will say no more.)
